Arque Arctic
Arque Arctic (or "Arqtic") is an Arque research facility situated in the Arctic. The facility is likely a secret, given its presence is not known to weather researchers operating in its direct vicinity. It's not clear what the facility is responsible for, however it does have supplies and medical equipment.

Following the Fisherman's escape from the Island by sea and subsequent rescue by John Derril, the pair enter the Arque Arctic facility, where John provides medical care for the Fisherman.
Finding this research station was nothing short of a miracle. I still haven't worked out exactly what this station is for and who owns it but ...it was easy to get into, and has lots of supplies. — John Derril
During a conversation with John, the Fisherman learns that John arrived at the facility on a dinghy after escaping the bombing on the Island. John describes it as a "research station", but admits he does not know what it is for, or who owns it. John does state that it was fairly easy to get into and has lots of supplies, though doesn't provide more detail.
Events of the Blizzard Short

The Blizzard short sees a new character, Albert Francis, part of the Algor research vessel make landfall onto a snowy shore. Albert proceeds to collect data from weather stations situated inland, however gets cut off from Algor. Albert proceeds, but gets cut off by a heavy snowstorm, sending out S.O.S. messages via a personal radio to no avail. The Blizzard short ends with Albert Francis stumbling across a bunker with the Arque "A" logo next to it. The doors start to open, and the short ends.
Woah, what the hell is that? A bunker? Arque Corporation!? This isn't meant to be here. They aren't meant to be here... — Albert Francis
This is likely not the same entrance as the one discovered by John Derril in the events of the main game, since John states that he does not know who owns the research station, yet this entrance sports the distinctive Arque logo. In addition Albert seems to be completely unaware of Arque's presence, implying this it is likely a secret, not known by the general population. This is in contrast to the facilities on the Island, where Arque appears in local newspapers.
